How do I register for the Forum? Follow this linkto the Registration page and choose your ticket type. You will then be asked to fill in your details, click the small checkbox on the bottom left of the screen to accept the terms and conditions and complete your registration.
Do I need to download the App as well as access the online platform? Accessing the mobile App and the online platform will give you the best experience of the Forum. There are extra features on the App that are not available on the online platform, such as videos and session registration. The App is a great way to communicate and connect with your MINT friends and colleagues.
How do I download the mobile phone App for the Forum? On your mobile phone search for 'MINT Virtual Events' in the App Store. When you download the App you will be asked to enter your email address and to generate a password. Before you can access the App you will need to click on the verification email from Attendify. Check your junk mail also for this email. You can also use this link attendify.com/app/vsc68j/
How do I access the online virtual platform for the Forum? Click on this link ve.attendify.com/index/vsc68j/oj2lzvd/login and it will bring you to the MINT Virtual Forum 2021 online platform. We have created brief videos to show the steps you need to take to access the App and the on-line platform. Go to the videos page on this website and you will see the links.
How do I register for the sessions I want to attend? You can only register for your preferred sessions within the mobile app. There is a link to accessing the mobile app above. Go to the schedule in the mobile app and when you find a session that you wish to attend then click on the small + symbol next to the title. The session is then added to your schedule, the tab is at the bottom of the schedule screen. There is a quick guide with a screenshot at the bottom of this page.
When I try to access the mobile app it tells me that my email address is not recognised. Ensure that you have registered for the event. You need to open the verification email sent to you by Attendify. Check your inbox and your junk mail for this email. You need to click on the link within it. I have followed all the steps and I am still having problems with access? Contact the PPC at email@example.com and we will support you with access. When you email us, tell us how far you have managed to get and include any screen shots. Common reasons for access struggles include using an email that you do not use with MINT membership, failing to open the verification email in your inbox, and operating on an out-of-date iOS.
What if I cannot attend a session live? All sessions will be recorded and then made available to all members following the MINT Virtual Forum.
Which time zone is being used for the Forum? On the mobile app you will see the times in UTC (Universal Coordinated Time) and you will need to convert to your local time zone. When you access the online platform, your laptop/PC will convert to your local time zone. Check this helpful file. When I go through the registration process the Pay Now button is not active, what should I do? The Pay Now button will be active when you have completed all the fields in the form and clicked on the small tick box in the bottom left of the screen. How do I access the English captioning and the translation for Bill and Steve's sessions? When you enter Zoom, go the chat box and click on the link in the box. This will take you to a new window and you can then split your screen between the Zoom session and the captioning/translation. Ask for the link in the chat box if you do not see it.
